Details: Utsav Lal, Indian Prodigy Pianist at 15 yrs of age has acquired International acclaim for his original rendition of mesmerizing Indian Ragas on the Piano. Having performed over 50 solo concerts in India and abroad, the young musician delights with his unique piano playing style and exceptional musical prowess. www.utsavlal.com
 

The programme will include original piano compositions of the pianist, based on Classical Ragas along with percussion by CS Koushik on Tabla & Mridangam. Utsav will also showcase some legendary Indian compositions dating back to 50's and present an interesting ensemble combination with Sitar player Dara O' Brien & Traditional irish musician Dave Sheridan on Flute.

In the past one year of residing in Dublin, Utsav has had the opportunity to present Indian music on the Piano to Irish audiences at various venues like the World Refugee Day, Festival of World Cultures 2007, Art Auction in support of The Bridge foundation at Temple Bar , One World Music Evening in support of the World Mercy Fund, Airfield Arts Centre & on "Class Act" for RTE.
