Piano Prodigy In Mumbai, This September, 2008
RAGA RAS ON PIANO

Utsav Lal, a
16 yrs old , Piano prodigy (www.utsavlal.com) & "Raga Pianist " has slowly
been making waves in the National & International music industry, with his
unique piano playing style & original rendition of ragas on piano and will
be visiting India in September 2008 .
Currently based in Dublin, Ireland, Utsav will be in India to launch his
Indian Classical Ragas Piano Album with Times Music.
The launch by young virtuoso & santoor maestro Rahul Sharma will also
be timed with an exclusive performance titled "Raga Ras on Piano" by
Utsav and accompanied on Tabla by Taal mani Aditya Kalyanpur in
Mumbai on18th Sept 2008. (Invitation attached)
With over 60 Piano Concerts at prestigious venues in India & abroad , Utsav
over the last year has amongst others performed at The One world Music
evening, The National Concert Hall in Dublin, The Nehru Centre in London,
The Asia Pacific Week '07 in Berlin, The India Habitat Centre at New Delhi ,
The Taj Festival at Manchester, and at a unique rendition of Indian Ragas at
a nineteenth century church in Cork, Ireland.
In the upcoming concerts, Utsav has been invited, as one of Asia's top music
prodigy to perform a solo concert at The Chambers for the "Asia on Edge"
festival in Singapore on Dec 2nd. He will also be doing a fund raiser
concert for "Child Aid" by Singapore Holdings Ltd on Dec 3rd & spend quality
time with Business Times Budding Artists Funds beneficiaries in Singapore
before moving onto perform at The Venue, Leeds, UK on Dec 5th for " Into
Light " organised by SAA-UK.
Apart from that Utsav performs as a young cultural ambassador ,bringing
Ragas on Piano on the invitation of Festival of World Cultures 2008, a
gigantic feast of global arts & culture on 23rd Aug,2008 in Ireland.
During his India trip in Sept 2008, Utsav will also perform a special
concert titled "Apoorva Ragam" at Sir M.V Rao Concert Hall, Chennai on 20th
sept. Utsav has endeared himself to worldwide audiences and this performance
in September is a wonderful opportunity for people in Mumbai/ Chennai to
watch the Young Pianist LIVE in their city !
