Benzy, Special Child – 14 years Old
Benzy is a 14th years old girl, with special needs. She is not able to communicate herself properly. Her Parent had adopted Music Therapy in full scale. Result is today she is able to sing songs as well as play keyboard.
This is first time that a special child’s audio cassette named ‘KOSHISH’ launched by the music company. For this she has won National Award from our Hon’ble President in Vigyan Bhawan 2004. Her first cassette BASIC RAAGAS at the age of nine was also been appreciated.
Her voice has been appreciated by legends- Indian Singers Madam Lata Mangeskar, Madam Asha Bhonsle, Madam Anuradha Podwal, Madam Alka Yagnik, Sir Anu Maalik, Sir Suresh Wadkar, Sir Ravinder Jain , Sir Anandji , Sri Udit narayan , Sri Adnan sami and others.
Indian Film Star Sri Hritik Roshan met Benzy very warmly. He quotes- “In my film ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ I get super natural power from an alien but here Benzy is creating her own magic by the power of our Indian music”. All India Radio has appointed her permanently as a child artist. Bio-data of Benzy shows that she is covered by all news papers and TV . Limca Book of Record has featured her in 2005 for her National Record.
On 8th March, International Women’s Day, www.hindustantimes.com has featured her among top twelve ladies of India. She is the brand ambassador of ICONGO Her audio CD and instrumental CD released on 6TH May 2006.
She has won Gold Medal of National Child Awards for Exceptional Achievement on 14th November,2006 in Vigyan bhawan by our hon’ble Prime Minister.
Recently she had performed with singer Sunidhi chauhan organized by IDEA MOBILE in Delhi Feb. 07. On 31st March 2007 she had performed in ‘BENZY NITE’ in Surya Auditorium at LUCKNOW. In her Nite she had been entertaining thousands of people for hours with continuous singing and it was a grand success. On 21st nov she performed in JHANSI MAHOTASHAV.
On 26th of nov she was awarded ‘karmaveer puraskar’ by icongo. On 23rd feb 08 she performed in TAJ MAHOTASHAV
Earlier she use to sing old melodies of M’ Lata & M’ Asha but here this album is non film based. Here she is making effort to sing song of Dedication, Motivation, Hope, Life, childhood, inspiration, change and passion. It is titled “ASHAAYEIN…a ray of hope”. Release by Music Company NUPUR AUDIO. Till date all special children world wide sing songs of some great singer of the era. This is the first time that a special girl singing her own private album where some fresh unique music is composed by a music director. This album contains ten songs of devotion, mother- sacrifice, dedication, passion and heart touching emotions, Recently she has received ZEE ASTITVA AWARDS for RARE Achievement at Mumbai on 30th August 08.
