Priyambada Pattnaik – Odissi Dancer India
PRIYAMBADA is a talented odissi dancer with 20 years of experience in odissi classical dance under various Gurus in Guru shishya parampara. She is born in a traditional art family of Orissa – the grand-daughter of the great Odissi maestro, late Pandit CHANDRASHEKHER PATTNAIK
Training :
- She received her initial training from her father late INDRA KUMAR PATTNAIK and later with GOTIPUA Guru late MOHADEV ROUT for 10 years.
- Priyambada moved to Bhubaneswar in 1993 to receive advance training from Guru-GANGADHAR PRADHAN and Guru-BICHITRANANDA SWAIN.
- She also trained for 7 years at International Institute NRITYAGRAM, Bangalore.
Performances: Priyambada has performed all over India and Abroad.
Presently, she is teaching Odissi dance at SRI RAM BHARATIYA KALA KENDRA, NEW DELHI.
