Dhruv – 13 year old child prodigy in Classical Music
About Dhruv : He has been performing classical music on keyboard / synthesizer which is a western instrument since 2003 when he was just seven years old.
Training: Dhruv has been blessed by Smt Girija Devi & Pt Channulal Mishra—-Classical vocalist.
Prizes & Awards: Dhruv has won many prizes
Performances: Dhruv has been exhibiting his talent in various cities like
Varanasi, Mathura, Agra, Noida & Moradabad.
- He has performed on All India Radio & Doordarshan.
- His talk show has been telecast on Sahara NCR TV channel on 14.11.08 and his programme has found place on Doordarshan (National) on 01.01.09.
- He has recently performed on Urdu Channel of All India Radio which was broadcast in 56 countries on 02.04.06.
- Very recently, he has performed in Delhi University North Campus on 14.03.09 on a 35 minutes show.
- Almost all major newspapers like HT,TOI,Amar Ujala,Dainik Jagran,Rashtriya Sahara etc have covered him since 2003 when he was seven years old.
- He has represented Mathura in Taj Mahotsav continuosly for three years in a row.
- His programme on Pragya Channel on 29.04.09 in “Utho Jago” as guest artist was praised by everyone.
Highlights of Dhruv’s Performances: The amazing part of his performance is that he plays the instrument with both hands. His playing keyboard sounds like it is being played on Sitar/Santoor. Look out for the speed he has in finger movement and then look for his creation as per the tabla being played alongside.
He is redefining this western instrument and making it sound like Sitar / Santoor. He likes Gandhiji’s bhajans very much & has composed the bhajans on his own which will sound very different.
Other Interests: Dhruv has been announced District Rank No. 1 Badminton player from Mathura District and played in State Level Championship in Noida recently.
He has been scoring more than 96% marks in academics also wining prizes in almost all the activities of school.
An all rounder who can be source of inspiration for young ones.

Fortunately I got the opportunity to listen to this talented young musician, during the momentous celebration of Golden Jubilee of IndianOil, in a packed Convention Centre at Scope New Delhi. It was a stunning performance and kept the whole audience mesmerized.

I had the opportunity to attend the prograame of Druv on 30.6.2009 in SCOPE Convention Center. I was enthralled to his performance on keyboard. His rendition of raga Yaman was superb and befitting to the occaision of inaugral function of Indian Oil Golden Jublee year celebrations. This little master is prodigious and I wish him carved a nich for himself in the field of music.

I heard him playing synthesizer…..he was amazing …i felt its god gift to Dhruv. He is having magical touch in his fingers……….i thought playing synthesizer seems to be childs play for this kid……….May god bestow upon him all the blessings & i wish Dhruv very best for the long journey on musical path.

I have amazed to see his performance on keyboard and level of confidence at this very young age. As his name suggests, one day he will brighten just like “dhruv tara – the guiding star” and others will simply follow his steps. He won lot of prizes and lots to win. I wish all success for him

Off late, I have seen performing classical music on Keyboard/ synthesizer, which is a western instrument. In this tender age, child Prodigy called Master Dhruv has performed excellent on the stage. His performance is unmatched.

Dhruv is master in playing synthesizer and one of the best classical musician I have seen in my life. I have watched almost his all TV performance and all are delighted me & my family.
