About Hamsadhwani : The start of the seven swaras … And Hamsadhwani …With Hamsadhwani, every musical note speaks a language. A language that moves mountains and makes the rivers blush with a medley of beautiful sounds. And when we string these musical pearls together along a melodious thread, it touches your heart, the same way the touch of god feels. We are Hamsadhwani, and our music is our birth mark.

The reason why our music touches your soul …
The classical torch bearers of the seven notes, we have taken it upon ourselves to regale both the discerning and the connoisseurs’ musical hearts. Our only passion is for the magical and ethereal sounds of the divine ragas. We blend old school of classicism with glorious brushes of modernity, to create a new genre of music that transcends the hitherto defined contours of ananda or bliss. Our music is an ode to the strained sounds of your heart, which yearns for all things pure. Because there is nothing closer to god than music and the sweeping power of it’s seven notes.  We create music. So we exist !!

•    HAMSADHWANI has performed many times in SUNDAY JAM organized by LEVIS STRAUSS and also in ‘LIVE GIG’ organized by SOUND ACE.

•    We have performed many times in our very own college K.S.I.T, and also in other college fests.

•     We’ve won the 1st place in BMSCE, in the fusion category.

Intro: Indian Music preserves that the study should be gurumukh, face to face. This is the only way to imbibe the fineries into one’s instincts, the subconscious recording of internal music creation of finest Indian form.

The vidyarthi requires continuous feedback from the guru till perfection of the notes, grammar & the nature of the raga. Each raga has its own nature & signature, apart from the notes that it contains. The grammar preserves this to most extent; the actual rendering has to be captivated from guru to shishya for initital beginning. The student then extends the same through basic rules, nature & imagination.
