Bharathi Vishwanathan, Ghazal & Bhajan Singer

Bharathi is a Gold Medalist in music, an "A' grade Ghazal and Bhajan singer of All India Radio and Doordarshan and has performed in many concerts and music festivals in various cities of South India. Though a South Indian by birth, Bharathi has sung in Hindi Urdu and Tamil.

Her Music

Gifted with mellifluous and soft voice Bharathi Vishwanathan Tiwari is an "A" grade artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. Born in a south Indian family she was initiated into music by her late mother Smt Girija Vishwanathan. After her initial training she learnt classical vocal and ghazal under tutelage of Padmashri Ustad Abdul Laif Khan.

A post graduate in music Bharathi has given several performances in all the metros and in other parts of India and has got most prestigious programmes to her credit.

Kalidas samaroh Ujjain
LaxmiNarayan Rag Sabha Amritsar
Baala Mahotsav.

Though her mother tongue is Tamil she has been widely acclaimed for her Urdu diction. She has been honoured by Andhra government by Samaikya gaurav Puruskar. Selection of classical and meaningful Ghazals is her specialty.
