Though the industry has expanded and come a long way over time, it is still plagued by a number of problems such as music piracy etc.

Today, music is being distributed through radio and television, as well as online through websites that allow music downloads etc. With the growth in technology, it has become increasingly easy to gain access to your choice of music without actually going out in the market and buying a cassette or CD and these factors are not going down well with a lot of artists who are struggling to get their fair share of earnings. Such factors need to be addressed seriously.
