The Grammy Awards are one of the most popular and prestigious music awards.

well as music fans as the much awaited Grammy night approaches. The GRAMMY
Foundation promotes artists, music professionals and technical legends.
The foundation also promotes the importance of music education.

Soul Train Music
Awards : held annually at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium,
Pasadena, California.
This annual Award honors some of
the best performers and artists in Black music. Aired in national
syndication, the award function puts together many different musical performances by
hi hop and R&B artists.

Covenant Awards :
held in various cities of Canada, annually.
The Gospel Music Association of Canada (GMA Canada) presents the Covenant Awards
every year. These awards are recognised as Canada’s National Awards for the Canadian Gospel Music industry.
The GMA is dedicated towards promoting Christian artists, songwriters
and promoters etc in Christian music. The upcoming 2007 awards
will take place from Oct 24 to 26th in Calgary and will be handed over
in over 40 categories.

Dove Awards : held
annually in Nashville Tennessee
The annual GMA Dove Awards are
presented by The Gospel Music Association. These awards honor various
forms of Christian / Gospel music. The GMA Dove Awards celebrated its
38th year this April. These awards span across numerous styles of
Christian music including Christian rock, hip hop and metal etc.

Canadian singer /songwriter and JUNO Award
winner Nelly Furtado hosted The 2007 JUNO Awards - Canada’s Music
