EXPERIENCE
• Has worked as Third Secretary (culture) in the cultural centre, High
Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Government assignment of
Indian council For Cultural Relations for 3 &1/2 Years under cultural
exchange programme where he propogated Indian Music and Culture by teaching
the art of Tabla Playing to the people of Malaysia and through his
performance and lecture demonstrations.
• Teaching experience of more than 15 years to the students under Guru
Shishya Parampara. |
• Have conducted workshops as well as ‘Lecture Demonstrations’ covering
various topics on music especially the Indian rhythm and related aspects of
the
art of Tabla playing.
• Solo performances and Jugalbandi concerts (Including North & South Indian
music with Carnatic percussionists) have been greatly admired and applauded
by critics and connoisseurs.
• Have worked with Jazz musicians like Lewis Pragasam and Greg Lyons and
also with ‘Gamelan’ (a group of musicians playing the Malaysian traditional
instruments).
