Sanjoy has learnt Hindustani Classical Vocal in Guru Shisya parampara since childhood. He has won gold medal in music at a very early age.

The Bhajan, Ghazals, Rabindra Sangeet, Adhunik Bangla Gaan and light music sung by him shows his total devotion, his high aesthetic sense, his artistic sensibilities, his melodious voice along with his inner soft nature has enabled him to give a successful performance in front of his most valued audiences.

His performance at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on the 26th of April 2006,to mark the birth centenary of the great composer and Singer Late Pankaj Mullick Sahab was well appreciated and has earned a niche in the hearts of those audiences who had heard him.

Another programme Which was appreciated was at the Hotel Le Meridian on the 17th of August 2006. It was Organized by the famous astrologer Pandit Jai Prakash Sharma Lal Dhaage Wale. Sanjoy teaches Hindustani Classical Vocal in Guru Shisya Parampara. Besides that he also teaches Bhajans, Ghazals, Geet rare Hindi Film Songs, Adhunik Bangla Gaan. He only teaches those who are really interested in learning Music.
