Prasun Chatterjee

Born in 1961, Prasun started learning the art of playing Tabla at a very young age from his father Late Shri Amalesh Chatterjee, an exponent of Farukhabad Gharana. His father was also a distinguished Pakhawaj player. Later, he had the good fortune to receive advanced lessons from Late Ustad Alla Rakha, the doyen of Punjab Gharana.
